Firmus LLC was formed in 2002 by Demetrio Waszaj. Since then, we are taking the mantle from our father, with his vast experience in the carpentry trade.
In thirty years of business, Demetrio never advertised his business, and relied solely on his quality, honesty and integrity to gain the trust of his customers to refer him. Nearly forty years later, we are still reaping the benefits of word of mouth referrals.
Ben Waszaj grew up in construction and worked with his father for years. He took a 5-year break from the business while pursuing a career in law enforcement. During that time, he missed the thrill of completing a construction project and returned home to his family in New Jersey. As much as he enjoys the labor, he also enjoys the day to day operations of running a small business. He is married to his lovely wife and adores his kids.

“What can I say?!? These guys at Firmus are simply the BEST! Had them redo our whole house with crown moldings, base molding, doors/windows casing, coffer ceiling in dining room with mood lighting, built-in book/tv unit and last but not least a wonderrful custom clubhouse with working lights, tv/cable outlet, door and window right under our stairs! My kids LOVE IT!!The craftsmanship of their work speaks for themselves. Always on-time and very trustworthy. They even BBQed for me with their wonderful shortribs.
